    • Established in 1997, ASPRI (Association of Process Industry), a membership-based trade association consisting of mainly the Engineering Service Providers (ESPs) which specialise in plant maintenance and plant construction in the process industry. In Singapore, the process industry refers to petroleum, petrochemical, specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical sectors. Membership growth increases by more than ten-folds to about 500 companies in less than two decades, is a strong testament of ASPRI’s hard work.

ASPRI works closely with key industry stakeholders including its members, Process Plant Owners, Government Agencies and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), to propel the growth of the Process Industry and the Process Construction and Maintenance (PCM) Sector in various areas such as productivity improvement, infrastructure, internationalisation, management practices, mechanisation, workers’ capabilities, benchmarking and etc.

ASPRI has never rest on its laurels to achieve its vision, “To be a Visible and Credible Partner in the Process Industry.” It conscientiously strives for the best interests of its members by forging strategic alliances with the right esteemed partners to bring more value-added benefits to its members including the organising and introduction of knowledge-based workshops, seminars, exhibitions and conferences. Another recent significant milestone is the development of the first dedicated dormitory for Process Industry which resides ASPRI Integrated Training Centre (AITC). ASPRI-IPI, a training division of ASPRI, has officially relocated their office to the new AITC in August 2016. Not only has it provided a “One-Stop” training facility, it also brings training right to their doorstep, bringing convenience and thus reduces workers’ fatigue and raise their productivity.

ASPRI Secretariat office has also recently relocated to the Trade Association Hub located at the former Jurong Town Hall. The hub will facilitate industry-level capability development and promote cross-industry collaboration such as skills upgrading, business co-creation and sharing of best practices, thus catalysing industry transformation.
