Rudy Radjab, President Director

Rudy Radjab has more than 35 years of experience in a wide spectrum of top managerial positions mostly in oil & gas-related fields. From 1993 to 1996 he was Project & Development Manager of the Engineering & Construction Division of PT. ELNUSA. In 1996 he was appointed as President Director of PT. ELNUSA PETROTEKNIK, and from 2001 until 2007 he held the position of President Director of PT. ELNUSA.

Apart from his active position as Board member of Yayasan Pertambangan Energi (YPE), he used to serve as President Director of PT. Banten Global Development, a State Company under Banten Province.  

Mr. Rudy Radjab holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology and currently holds the position of President Director of PT Kreasindo Resources Indonesia, a holding company under Mining and Energy Foundation (YPE).

Sharul Rashid, Principal Engineer - Instrument and Control 

Sharul graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of Miami, Coral Gables Florida in 1988 and then graduated in Master Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida in 1990. He has been serving with PETRONAS, Malaysia for over 22 years in various Oil & Gas facilities – Transmission Operations Division, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant and Refinery and Aromatics Plant. He is now Principal Engineer - Instrument & Control, leading an Instrumentation group for PETRONAS Refinery in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

Singapore Refining Company 

Selva Guru, Principal Engineer, Process Control

PN SelvaGuru is a Chemical Engineer with Masters in Knowledge Engineering from National University of Singapore.

He has 25 years of experience in various refineries and petrochemical operations, especially in DCS, APC, RTO & Operational Intelligence applications.

He has implemented several Multi-Variable Predictive Control (MVPC) applications in various process units & also RTOs (Real-Time Optimization) in FCCUs.

Binh Son Refining & Petrochemical       

Mai Tuan Dat, General Manager, Operations Division

Mai Tuan Dat is a M.A in engineering, major in Electrical & Instrumentation technology, and engaged in Oil & Gas industry for more than 15 years in Dzung Quat Refinery - PetroVietnam. 

From 2000 to present, Mai Tuan Dat has experienced on working for all phases of the first refinery project in Vietnam. He was nominated to many difference positions from E&I engineer, supervisor of Dzung Quat Refinery PMT (Project Management Team), Maintenance Planning Manager, Standing Leader of Defect Liability Steering Committee, etc.

From 2010 to now, Mai Tuan Dat nominated to position of Maintenance Deputy Director in charge for all maintenance and reliability improvement of the Dzungquat Refinery. In April 2014, BSR recognized by various International Insurance Companies as well as some famous technology Licensors as an Excellence Operation in Refining and Petrochemical with over 630 days in continuously safe and efficient operation.

PTT Global Chemical

Napoporn Ratanapoka, Refinery Technical Manager

Started in 1997, Napaporn worked as a process engineer for various process units until 2004 before moving up to becoming the Refinery Economist in Supply & Planning such as running LP and production planning for 1.5 years. From 2006 - 2008, she led the process engineer team to run its first major expansion project "Refinery Upgrading and Clean Fuel Project". 

Her current role is to lead, coach and develop process engineers to exploit benefit from new technology of catalyst and process improvement, aiming to reduce OPEX, maximise UEDC with low EII, increase refinery GRM and improve plant reliability. In addition, she provides support to the operation team on daily optimization and troubleshooting.

BP Singapore 

Claus J. Nehmzow, Digital Innovation Organisation APAC

Claus is responsible for the Asia-Pacific region in BP’s Digital Innovation Organisation (DIO), where he introduces emerging digital technologies to address business challenges faced by the oil and gas major. The DIO’s innovation capability is based on leveraging expertise from outside the oil and gas industry. 

Before joining BP’s Digital Innovation Organization, Claus founded and built a gaming online education business, "3D Avatar School", and held a number of leadership roles, including at brand and user experience agency Method, PA Consulting, Shazam Entertainment, Viant, Booz Allen Hamilton, and accenture.

Originally from Germany, Claus has worked and lived in Zurich, New York, Munich, London, Hong Kong and now lives in Singapore.

Paul Steinitz, Director Strategic Services

Paul Steinitz has over 35 years of experience in the automation industry, including positions in sales, marketing, product management, and project management. Prior to ARC Advisory Group, Paul worked for Siemens (Moore Products), Invensys (Foxboro), and Westinghouse. He has been directly involved in the application of process control systems in the chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power (nuclear and fossil), and other industries. Paul's international experience includes positions as Director of Western Europe Systems Sales (Netherlands) and Managing Director, Asia-Pacific (Singapore) for Moore Products.

HPCL-Mittal Energy Ptd

Arun Kumar, General Manager (Maintenance & Reliability)

Arun Kumar is working with HPCL‐ Mittal Energy Ltd., India, as Head of Maintenance & Reliability of high complexity Refinery complex, Guru Gobind Singh Refinery at Bathinda, India. Has over 30 years of experience in the areas of erection, commissioning, maintenance, equipment reliability, turnaround planning and execution, troubleshooting and performance improvement of Rotating Equipment, in Process Plant/ World Class Oil Refinery. Arun is mechanical engineering graduate with post‐graduation in business management. He has presented number of technical papers at international venues and lectured at Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia, including tutorial and case studies. He is advisory committee member of Asian Turbomachinery Symposium, Turbomachinery Lab., Texas A&M University.

Zahira Sughra Zainuddin, Head, SVP GHRM Office

Zahira, a PETRONAS scholar who holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College in London, started her career at PETRONAS in 1999. She has held many roles in diverse PETRONAS businesses throughout her career which includes petrochemical, oil trading, LNG and gas, exploration & production, corporate strategy and project management. She is currently attached to the Group Human Resource Management of PETRONAS and appointed the role to drive the transformation of HR under the Senior Vice-President of Group HRM’s office. Zahira is passionate to humanise the workplace, by creating a compassionate, enabling, truly diverse and inclusive environment.

Bhawana Suphavilai, Director and President

Ms. Bhawana Suphavilai serves as President and Director of PTT Energy Solutions Company Limited. Ms. Suphavilai served as Deputy Managing Director of Thaioil Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. from 2008 to 2011. Ms. Suphavilai served as Department Manager - Assignment of Thai Oil Public Co Ltd. and its Technology Manager from 2006 to 2007. She served as Acting Managing Director of Thai oil Energy Solutions Co. Ltd. She served as a Senior Consultant of Shell Global Solutions - Refinery Master plan, Energy & Margin Improvement from 2004 to 2005. She served as an Area Production Unit Technology Manager at Thai Oil Public Company Limited from 2001 to 2004.

Ir Mohd Yusri bin Mohamed Yusof, Vice President, Refining and Trading

Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof is the Vice President of Refining and Trading, PETRONAS.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA.  He completed the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Charted Engineer (CEng) with Engineering Council United Kingdom

Since joining PETRONAS in 1989, he served in various capacity in Exploration and Production, Petrochemicals and Corporate Strategy.  He was responsible for the 12.7 million TPA of petrochemical manufacturing capacity for PETRONAS Chemicals Group since 2014 before assuming his current role.   In his current role which he took up in July 2017, he is accountable for the strategic direction and leadership of crude oil trading and refining, and the marketing and trading of the petroleum products for PETRONAS.

Amish Shah, Senior Vice President (Petchem)

Amish is a Chemical Engineer with Executive Management Diploma from Ashridge University, UK.   He has 15 years of experience in Petrochemicals and specialty chemicals industry. He has held various responsibilities in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Sales and Marketing at regional and global level.

Prior to joining RIL, he had successful stints with Exxon Mobil Chemical, Nalco Chemicals and Pentair.
